Engineered to deliver high pressure, exceptional durability, and thermodynamic reliability across challenging industrial environments.
Founded as Shandong Zhangqiu Blower Works, Shandong Zhangqiu Blower Co., Ltd. (ZCBC) represents over 50 years of foundational expertise in blower design, engineering, and manufacturing. As an industry pioneer in China, we were the first in the domestic blower market to establish overseas infrastructure, highlighted by two Sino-Japanese Joint-ventures and a dedicated USA branch. This global reach ensures that our equipment complies with both domestic and international technical metrics.
Our overall strategy is defined by the principles: "Develop main business, pioneer new fields and innovate, cooperate to be a great company". Guided by our core working concept of "Do the best", ZCBC has transitioned into a highly modern industrial manufacturer. Today, we design, engineer, and build Roots Blowers, Centrifugal Blowers, Fans, Industrial Pumps, Pneumatic Conveying Systems, Electrical Equipment, and advanced MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) Evaporation Systems.

In 2005, we relocated to our modern industrial park, spanning 430,000 m², featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. A key milestone in our growth occurred on July 7, 2011, when the company was publicly listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 002598).
By 2020, our parent company achieved an operating income of 1.5 billion yuan with a profit of 150 million yuan. Our organizational footprint spans 20 holding companies and 4 major domestic manufacturing bases located in Wuxi (Jiangsu), Dongguan (Guangdong), Chenzhou (Hunan), and Jinchang (Gansu). These operations are supported by four dedicated R&D centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang, and Wuxi, ensuring local support and rapid engineering response.

We don't just follow industry standards—we write them. As a major drafting unit of national standards for Roots Blowers, we shape the future of gas compression technology.
ZCBC serves as the Executive Director of the China General Machinery Industry Association, Vice President unit of the CGMA Fan Branch, and Executive Director of the China International Turbomachinery Industry Alliance Council. We play a key role in drafting standards for Roots Blowers and Roots Vacuum Pumps in China.
Our R&D initiatives are led by engineering researchers, municipal experts, and PhDs recruited via the Jinan "5150" talent acquisition program. Supported by a postgraduate workstation and collaboration with Tsinghua University and Xi'an Jiaotong University, we maintain a pipeline of design innovation.
Our production floor features nearly 100 sets of advanced machinery. This includes five-axis and CNC machining centers, three-axis coordinate measuring machines, and ultrasonic flaw detection systems imported from Germany and Japan. Our operations utilize PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and CAM/CAPP environments.
ZCBC holds 69 authorized patents, including 5 invention patents and 2 software copyrights. Our technical developments cover countercurrent cooling, fan noise reduction, anti-sticky wear technologies, two-stage tandem configurations, specialized sealing, grease lubrication, and twisted-leaf impeller designs.
We maintain multi-tier quality certifications, including ISO9001 Quality System, ISO14001 Environmental Management, ISO50001 Energy Management, and ISO10012 Measurement Management. Our products hold CE, energy-saving, 3C (China Compulsory Certificate), and Mining Product Safety Mark certifications, meeting international standards for performance and safety.

A technical whitepaper on optimization, energy efficiency, and safety in heavy industrial gas processing.
Modern process gas compression is undergoing a major transition driven by two main factors: carbon reduction mandates and thermodynamic efficiency optimization. As carbon taxes and environmental regulations tighten worldwide, industrial facilities must minimize fugitive emissions. They need to handle complex, corrosive, or flammable gases with minimal energy input.
The transition toward the hydrogen economy and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) has increased the demand for process gas compressors that operate without leakage or gas contamination. In response, manufacturers are shifting from traditional oiled reciprocating systems to oil-free, high-speed centrifugal systems and specialized direct-drive Roots designs. These technologies prevent oil contamination in gas streams while reducing friction losses, helping facilities lower their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Industrial procurement teams look for more than just low initial pricing; they prioritize long-term cost-effectiveness. In gas compression, capital expenditure (CAPEX) typically accounts for only 15% to 20% of the system's lifetime cost. The remaining 80% is spent on energy consumption and maintenance (OPEX).
By optimizing impeller profiles, integrating direct-drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), and incorporating countercurrent cooling, ZCBC provides cost-effective solutions that deliver high performance. A truly economical gas compressor minimizes downtime, prolongs seal life, and reduces energy consumption. This approach delivers a lower TCO and ensures long-term return on investment for international operators.
Operating in over 70 countries—including the United States, Germany, Italy, and Japan—requires compliance with regional standards. ZCBC's US branch and joint ventures offer local technical support, engineering consulting, and prompt spare parts supply. We design and manufacture systems to comply with international standards such as API 619, ASME codes, and ATEX/CE explosion-proof requirements. This approach ensures our equipment integrates smoothly into local industrial grids and processes.
The future of gas compression relies on intelligent, connected, and oil-free operation. ZCBC is expanding its product portfolio with air foil bearings and magnetic suspension turbo blowers, which reduce friction and eliminate mechanical wear. By integrating IoT sensors and PLC modules, our compressors enable predictive maintenance and real-time efficiency tracking. Utilizing PLM and advanced CAPP processes, ZCBC quickly designs and manufactures custom configurations, supplying 3D CAD drawings within 24 hours of customer requests.
